Douglas Asiimwe got involved in a number of kidnap inclusive 20 Rwandans shot dead in Kibati,Kidnap of Lt Joel Mutabazi,Sgt Kalisa Innocent and Karemera Jackson,killing of Journalist Charles Ingabire,Capt.Kizungu Keandre,Capt.Tega Frank and many others under his protection.
There is no report so far even post moterm were not done to determine who was done what.
Douglas has been in the office all years along refugees being kidnaped and he kept silence being the one in charge of refugee protection officer and the time he was arrested later got released as if lives of refugees perished didn't matter for him.
Douglas should be held accountable to put to an end the impunty habit characterizing corruptive UNHCR system for two decades.
